too tired for verbs

sidewalks,
sales people, questions.
no answers. wrong answers.
amnesia.

bathrooms… too long.
food… too late.
brain, no brain.
eight pm: not home.
shoulders heavy.
feet far.

apartment empty.
red light,
error message,
zeros.
nobody, nobody, nobody.

cold food, hot microwave.
shoes off. waistband off.
now book.
oh yeah.
til tomorrow.
